Se presentarán varias familias de polímeros, principalmente con una base de poliamida, desarrollados en los últimos años por RadiciGroup Performance Plastics, adecuados para su utilización en la industria del automóvil. El mercado del automóvil precisa de materiales poliméricos  cada vez de más alto rendimiento:

• Adecuados para sustituir a metales, con la idea de aligerar componentes, contribuir al logro de los objetivos de reducción de emisiones de CO2.

Several families of polymers will be presented, mainly on a polyamide base, developed in recent years by RadiciGroup Performance Plastics, also suitable for use in the car industry. The automotive market requires increasingly high-performance polymeric materials:

• Suitable for the substitution of metals, with a view to lightening the components, contribute to the achievement of the CO₂ emission reduction objectives.
• Capable of withstanding prolonged exposure in the presence of high temperatures in contact with air and other media.

Additionally some interesting cases will be presented, related to the traditional internal combustion vehicles, highlighting the innovative aspects both with regard to the materials used and with regard to the content of the application

Subsequently, the RadiciGroup Performance Plastics vision on the evolution of the car market in the medium / long term and its implications on the use of polymers will be illustrated. Also in this case solutions already in place and proposals for innovative materials to meet new needs will be presented.
